Flying
IF: Flying
On a hot day(and I mean 38 degrees Celsius) a lick of my favourite orange ice-lolly just sends me flying off the ground.
Funny thing, last week I had even commented to my mum that "This is like flying... so refreshing" while having a lolly!!
So for me, this seemed the immediate response to this week's prompt.

Pattern IF
Pattern IF
With Pattern, two things immediately came to mind: animal pattern in nature and nursery craft classes... the result: a lady's finger print pattern peacock.
Peacocks are amazing and the flowery pattern of lady's finger seemed right to go with the feathers. For the background sky, I used a piece of sponge...

The mirror cracked from side to side
Cracked:IF
A tribute to my all time favourite poems:
Lord Alfred Tennyson's The Lady of Shalott
Here's the verse that I have focused on:
Out flew the web and floated wide;
The mirror crack'd from side to side;
"The curse is come upon me," cried
The Lady of Shalott.
The mirror crack'd from side to side;
"The curse is come upon me," cried
The Lady of Shalott.

Happy Earth Day!!
This week's theme is : Impossibilty
...Life without Nature= Impossibility
...Imagine a world without trees, rivers turning into sludge, all furry friends gone, smog and smoke looming all over, a world where everything is polluted and the only thing green is the signboard at a radioactive station... Imagine what might happen to our home Earth if pollution is not controlled....Imagine life without nature....
So please do whatever little you can to save trees, animals and nature. On this Earth Day take a pledge to give Nature safety, afterall, what hasn't she given us?

She wishes for cloths of heaven...
What better way to introduce than with a favourite Yeats poem?
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
Had I the heavens' embroidered cloths,
Enwrought with golden and silver light,
The blue and the dim and the dark cloths
Of night and light and the half-light,
I would spread the cloths under your feet:
But I, being poor, have only my dreams;
I have spread my dreams under your feet;
Tread softly because you tread on my dreams.
